Meet Your President

John Slater of Lake Moraine

John has been a member of the Lake Moraine Association for over 25 years and has been on its Board of Directors for about twenty of those years. He assumed the Presidency of the LMA twice: once in the '90's and again from 2002 to 2004. John followed in the footsteps of Mark Randall and became a NYSFOLA Board member and enjoying Board meetings and conferences at the White Eagle Conference Center on Lake Moraine. I am confident that NYSFOLA will do well in the years to come because of the outstanding leadership of the past and current Board of Directors. There are so many willing and capable members of the Board, “I consider it a privilege to serve with them."

"New Diet for a Small Lake"

No, not a South Beach Diet but a completely new updated manual to replace NYSFOLA's original "Diet for a Small Lake". The new manual is nearly ready for the printers and our inaugural date will soon be announced. Look often at the "WATER COLUMN" for all the latest information.

Who is Dr. Lake??

"Dr. Lake" is actually a group of people. When your question is e-mailed to Dr. Lake, it is either answered immediately by the NYSFOLA Manager or forwarded to someone with expertise in the subject area of the question. You can be assured that your question is accurately answered.

Feel at ease to ask your important questions, but please keep them relevant to Lakes, Water Quality and Watersheds. WE DO NOT HANDLE REAL ESTATE QUESTIONS (except where the question directly pertains to a lake's location, water quality and/or that lake association's contact information). Contact Dr. Lake with an e-mail message at mailto:drlake@nysfola.org.
